Hello, I'm pleased to meet you. My name is Bob and I am the editor and webmaster of this online publication for rock collectors and lapidary hobbyists. Basically, I'm just your ordinary, common as quartz rockhound who enjoys showing off minerals in my collection, lapidary projects, and sharing with fellow collectors and rock nuts. As a longstanding computer hobbyist and Internet enthusiast I saw an opportunity at the dawn of the World Wide Web to indulge several interests and open up "shop" here. The result of merging these interests and hobbies is Bob's Rock Shop.

The Rock Trader Classifieds page was created as a service and resource for rock, mineral and fossil collectors, lapidary hobbyists, jewelry makers and other members of the rockhound and mineralogical communities. Everyone is welcome to browse here, and anyone who wishes to post a topical advertisement may do so.

You'll find plenty of elbow room in the store and work tables ready to go!  We have expert staff on hand to help with the details.  Our class instructors provide you with the skills and knowledge to push your limits on that next project plus an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
